Saving and Reusing Email Sequences

What this feature does

You can save the scheduled emails you create on an event and reuse them on future events. This saves time and keeps your client communication consistent.

What gets saved
When you save a sequence, Giggio stores:

• Each email in the sequence
• How far each email is from the event date
• The status rule for each email
• The subject and message
• The order of the emails

You can create as many sequences as you need and include as many emails as you want in each one.

How Giggio calculates send dates
When you add scheduled emails to an event, Giggio records how far each email is from the event date.
For example:
• 30 days before
• 7 days before
• 1 day after

When you reuse the sequence on a new event, Giggio uses the new event date to work out the correct send dates automatically.

Status rules
If an email is set to send only when the event is Confirmed, that rule is saved in the sequence. When you reuse the sequence, the same rule is applied to the new event.

How to save a sequence
Open an event.
Add your scheduled emails.
Click Save Sequence.
Give the sequence a name.
Save.

Your new sequence is now ready to use on future events.

How to use a saved sequence on a new event

Open the new event.
Go to the Emails tab.
Choose the sequence from the Pre-set sequence list.
Click Insert.

Giggio adds all emails from the sequence, sets the send dates, and applies the status rules.

Tips
• Give each sequence a clear name so you can find it easily.
• Create separate sequences for different types of events.
• Make a test event if you want to preview a sequence before using it.
