Setting Up Card Payments (UK Users)

You can now enable card payments in Giggio using our new provider, Ryft. This feature is available for all UK users and allows clients to pay invoices using Visa, Mastercard, or American Express.

The processing fee for this is just 1.85%+20p per transaction.

Step-by-Step: Enabling Card Payments

1. Go to your settings in Giggio

  • Navigate to Settings > Card Payments
     

2. Register with Ryft

  • Click the Register button
  • You’ll receive an email with a link to complete your setup
     

3. Complete the Rift registration form

  • Enter your company type
  • Create a username and password to access your Ryft dashboard
  • Fill in required details about:
    • Yourself
    • Your business
    • The bank account for payouts
  • Click Add Account
     

4. Return to Giggio

  • Once registration is complete, you’ll be redirected back to Giggio
  • Card payments will now be active

Updating Your Invoice Templates

If you’ve used card payments before:

  • Your existing pay link merge field will still work
  • New links will automatically be included in outgoing invoices
     

If this is your first time setting up card payments:

  • You’ll need to add the pay link merge field [[pay]] to your invoice email templates manually.

Payment Notifications and Status

  • When a client pays by card, you'll receive an email notification
  • The email includes the invoice number and payment amount
  • The invoice is automatically marked as paid in Giggio

Activating American Express
American Express is not enabled by default. To set this up, login to your Ryft dashboard at dash.ryftpay.com click on the circle profile icon at the top right. Choose Settings, then Capabilities, and click American Express.
